All that Wendy Roy touches seems to turn to a shimmering gold. She is a stylish, delightful and empowering individual, who owns a unique combination of creative and analytical talent. She initiates projects that come to fruition with quick, remarkable results. She is a positive force to be reckoned with.

While working solely as an administrative assistant for The Clean Air Association of the Northeast States, Roy started a program which aims to create green, healthy and attractive workspaces that foster peace, happiness and productivity.

Roy's latest proud accomplishment is the completion of her smart and hip gift book entitled; You Know You're a Glam-Granola Girl If… It is a pioneering piece that eloquently and delightfully celebrates the glamorously earthy ladies of the world, modeled after women like Roy herself. She is currently partnering with other organizations, beauty and non-profits alike, to promote the Glam-Granola image and lifestyle, and also to direct attention on the importance of developing emotional intelligence in our youth.

"We can only begin our walk towards a peaceful society once we commit to the development of emotional literacy and empowerment in our youth", says Roy. "We have the power to start creating an environment that validates us as individuals, right from the start… An environment that nurtures self-learning and teaches life and coping skills, creating a palpable, solid sense of self-worth in all."

In addition to being knowledgable and highly skilled in the area of emotional intelligence, Roy is a revolutionary of sorts with regards to stress relief and wellness approaches and practices. She is a terrific public speaker and motivator, and is currently writing a stress management program for a prominent non-profit.

Music is another significant part of Roy's life as she is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter. She received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music, where she subsequently earned her B.M. degree in Music Business/Management. Since then her voice has been heard on the likes of NBC, and she is a regular vocalist at Fenway Park, home of the famous Red Sox. Roy is the writer and performer of Boston anthem, You're in Boston, as heard at Fenway during the 2007 history making no-hitter, and she performed a track on a compilation CD that was released on major record label EMI, Japan. An original song of hers is featured on hit TV show IDOL, South Africa finalist Veronique's debut CD.
